My Dog Training and Behaviourist Services

I provide advice, kindness and support services for sensitive dogs and their caregivers. A sensitive dog is one who can easily become overwhelmed and lose the ability to think, Think how we humans get stressed out and our fight or flight mechanismkicks in.

The dreaded approach of an unfamiliar dog with owners nowhere in sight. Your dog's hackles are up, then your dog starts to whine and the dog is still coming. The owner is finally visible your dog lunges as the unfamiliar dog invades his space and your dog is labelled aggressive! Or your dog is calmly sat down at a cafe and the 'dog lover' stranger comes from nowhere to pet them, they lunge and you get told "your dog shouldn't be here if they can't behave". Sound familiar?

 

My passion is creating a strong relationship with your dog so that the world starts to become less scary. I cover the East Midlands including Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. 

 

I am advocate of positive reinforcement training methods for your dog that creates a stronger attachment to you the owner and caregiver. I will work to give you and your dog a took-kit to be able to handle a variety of scenarios.

I am committed to ongoing professional education and development. I have the benefit of being supported by an experienced dog behaviourist who has run the successful Train Positive company for a number of years and is a key speaker at a number of dog behaviour conferences.

I realise getting help from a professional can prove expensive and have set out to make the prices as affordable as possible and costs will be assessed on a case by case basis.
