Flo4Paws - Specialist Dog Behaviourist for Nervous and Sensitive Dogs

I am a National Institute of Canine Ethics Member who specialises in Dog Training and provide Dog Behaviourist support from Bingham, Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties, Leicestershire and Rutland! 

Has walking your dog become a source of anxiety and stress rather than pleasure? Do you dread off lead dogs approaching your dog where their owner fails to recall them or put them on a lead, even though yours is on a lead? While issuing the words “he/she is friendly”? Has your dog been labelled as ‘aggressive’ or 'reactive' for barking or lunging at other dogs or people? Have you had strangers approach your dog without asking and then be told, “you shouldn’t bring your dog here if they can’t behave”. Do you feel like your world has shrunk? Are you weary of inviting family or friends to your home?

My name is Flo and my dog is Gatsby and together we are Flo4Paws, as he has taken me on the journey to understand how best to support him as a sensitive dog and nervous dog and to help others. I therefore understand the unique challenges faced by owning a dog who gets scared and overwhelmed and doesn't appreciate not being given space.

 I volunteer at a dog shelter which has enabled me to observe a variety of dogs including street dogs when they are at their most vulnerable requiring a sensitive approach.

I also have a background in Human Psychology, which allows me to provide a genuine and empathetic human touch to the dog human relationship as this is as much about you the owner. Together, we’ll strengthen the bond between you and your dog, making every pawprint count.
